Gathering for Worship on Sundays @ 9:00 AM!
Church Family and Friends,
We are excited to announce that First Baptist is gathering for worship in the sanctuary on Sundays at 9:00 AM! Yes, you heard that correctly, we are A) gathering and B) we are worshiping together at a new, earlier time – 9:00 AM (EDT). This is so that the space can be properly cleaned before our sister congregation, Misión Bautista's worship service in Spanish after us. We will also continue broadcasting the service on Facebook at 11:00 AM, so if you have health concerns, please join with us virtually.
We ask that everyone who comes to our services wear a mask and practice safe social distancing. If you need a mask, we have them and plenty of hand sanitizer! Half of the pews have been roped off to ensure that folks don't sit too close together. We will have songs performed for the gathered community to enjoy, but we ask that you not sing. We are adhering to all state regulations concerning the pandemic and making every effort to "love our neighbor" by taking necessary precautions to help people remain and feel safe. I know this world that we live in right now seems so strange, but scripture reminds us to "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7). God is present with us, even in these trying times. We will get through this together, with and in Christ.

Welcome to Our Faith Community
We are a church in Westchester where people belong. People, no matter what they look like,
what they wear, what they drive, who they know themselves to be, because they are children of God.
No matter what you’ve been called, or who the world says you are,
you belong at First Baptist, first and foremost because you are a child of God.
Jesus called people to follow Him in groups. His ministry established a very close and diverse
group of friends we know as the 12 disciples. We do our best to encourage friendships within our larger community.
Jesus welcomes the stranger, the outcast, and His enemies to a healing relationship. We endeavor to do the same.
