The Beginning of a New Chapter
This past Sunday witnessed a beautiful service which warmly welcomed First Baptist Church of White Plain's newly selected interim minister, Reverend Frank T. Fraley. The worship gathering was punctuated with a diverse musical ensemble featuring multiple pianists, a small choral group, and a string quintet. The congregation was also blessed to hear special musical numbers by Shelton Quiller and Jonathan Wimbush. The atmosphere was full of energy and Reverend Fraley's message was inspiring, moving many to express their enthusiasm for the ideas he brought out of God's word.
Reverend Fraley's family were among those in the congregation, along with a number of other guests from Florida, Atlanta, Brooklyn and other parts of NYC and the Lower Hudson Valley Region. We were absolutely blessed by the wonderful outpouring of support for our new minister, and we look forward to seeing how God continues to lead as everyone works together for the glory of the Lord right here in White Plains, NY.

A Beautiful Easter Sunday
This year's Easter Sunday Service was a wonderful blessing for both First Baptist Church of White Plains and Misión Bautista! We are thankful for the partnership between the FBCWP and MB boards which made this service possible, Rev. Dr. Isaac J. Castañeda who preached a powerful sermon and guided the worship service beautifully, Matt Perez (FBCWP's Music Director) and Salomon (MB's Worship Leader), all of our guest musicians, and our churches' youths—volunteering to complete community service hours—including Jordan Mendes (of Yonkers, attending Yonkers High IB program) and Soleil CeCe Abreu (of Scarsdale, attending Montfort Academy). It was great seeing new visitors as well as the return of some of our longtime members!

Rev. Kei Okada and members of The Breakfast Club Group present laptops to local youth
Generous Donation from the Breakfast Club Group
On Sunday, March 26th, the Breakfast Club Group joined us for a special worship service with Rev. Kei Okada in which they awarded three Dell laptops to local students. These generous gifts will be used to further their studies and contribute to their available educational resources. Members of the group present that morning included Ken Meccia, Robert Withers, Jean Coney, and Richard Klein Esq. as accompanied by volunteers Sean and Eamon Coney.
“We started this real estate-centric group with common goals,” said Ken Meccia, president of Statewide Abstract Corp. and one of the founding members of The Breakfast Club. “We put together a team of like-minded, seasoned real estate veterans at the top of their games to facilitate our real estate deals and help grow our businesses. We are also committed to giving back to our community in the form of services and donations. I am proud of the work we do together and look forward to future community giving.”

Welcome to Our Faith Community
No matter what you’ve been called, or who the world says you are,
you belong at First Baptist, first and foremost because you are a child of God.
Jesus called people to follow Him in groups. His ministry established a very close and diverse
group of friends we know as the 12 disciples. We do our best to encourage friendships within our larger community.
Jesus welcomes the stranger, the outcast, and His enemies to a healing relationship. We endeavor to do the same.
