The Rev. Dr. Blanche Clipper Hudson
Interim Pastor

We warmly welcome the Rev. Dr. Blanche Clipper Hudson to the First Baptist Church of White Plains.

Blanche Hudson was an elementary school teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia, when she experienced a call to ministry.

After 17 years of teaching, she enrolled in the Howard University School of Divinity where she earned the Master of Divinity degree and the Doctor of Ministry degree. She began her career in ministry in 1995.

Blanche is an active member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., where she has been minister and director of children and coordinator of the church's Basic Literacy Program.  She has also provided pastoral care to the parents of youngsters enrolled in the Head Start Program in her community.

Blanche has been interim pastor of the First Baptist Church of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and the First Baptist Church of Norwich, N.Y. She has been Minister to Youth of New Community Baptist Church in Landover, Md.

Blanche Hudson also earned the B.S. degree at Bowie State College and the M.Ed degree at George Mason University.

She is warmly recommended by the Interim Ministries Program of American Baptist Churches USA. We pray God's richest blessings on her ministry with us.
