Because the FOOD PANTRY is a not for profit organization run by volunteers your financial assistance enables us to take advantage of  food prices that are often more favorable than wholesale.  Working in cooperation with other anti-hunger agencies we can benefit from government surplus products and large quantity discounts, so your dollars make a big difference in our efforts to fight hunger. 

     Your financial assistance also helps us to take advantage of special commercial prices as they occur and to buy items, like soup in the winter, that might be important to our clients but hard to find at surplus prices because of seasonal demand.
